Things To Do in NYC This Holiday Season!

Holiday Season in NYC is the best season. Here are a few things we think you should check out:

  • Ice Skating in Bryant Park
    • Price: FREE
    • Date: November 20 - January 3
      The rink is open to the public for free! Make sure to bring your skates if you have any since skate rental is $19 per one pair of skates. It's open everyday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It's bound to be a fun time!
  • Holiday Markets
    • Price: FREE
    • Date: December 1 - December 24
      Union Square Holiday Market, Columbus Circle Holiday Market, and Garmet District Holiday Market!! You won't want to miss this. These markets are the perfect place to get your family and friends unique presents! 
  • New York Botanical Garden Train Show
    • Price: Members FREE
                Non-Members $20-$30 (depends on day)
    • Date: November 21 - January 18
      Enchanting model trains zip through a display of 150 landmarks, each re-created with bark, leaves, and other natural materials. Explore a winter wonderland across the 250 acres with special tours, musical performances, and activities for kids. Make sure to bundle up! 
  • Radio City Christmas Spectacular
    • Price: Varies anywhere from $60-$500 per ticket, depends on seating
    • Date: November 13 - January 3
      Every year, the Rockettes push themselves further to put on a show that's more dynamic, more challenging and more magical than the last. Take in cherished moments and create new memories. This is definitely something to see at least once in a lifetime! 
  • Lighting of the World's Largest Menorah 
    • Price: FREE
    • Date: December 6 - December 13
      This is a must see. The Menorah is an extraordinary 32 feet tall (the tallest allowed by Jewish law). It has been towering over Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn since 1985. You can find the lighting schedule online here
  • Rockefeller Plaza Christmas Tree
    • Price: FREE
    • Date: December 2 - January 7
      Even though the Christmas tree lighting has already happened, that doesn't mean you shouldn't go check out the tree! This year's tree is 80 feet tall and around 10 tons. It might get a little crowded on the weekends, so plan accordingly. 
  • POGO Events: The Amazing Holiday Scavenger Hunt
    • Price: $25 per person
    • Date: December 20
